Ruthin Flower Show

A couple of weeks ago saw the signs for the Ruthin Flower show and as we only live about a mile away from the venue we thought we would pop by and

This post is just a quick collection of some of the photos that we took.

We first went through the main hall that had a competition and showing of local produce. It was rather spectacular to see the quality of the vegetables and the flowers. It’s now something that we are considering if we should enter next year (we can grow some stellar courgettes)…

Next in the main hall were a group demonstrating spinning wool. It was a nice moment for our daughter as she got to see up close for the first time how wool is made.

Similar to the Denbigh and Flint show, there was a showing of Tractors. I’ve got a bit of a thing for some of these, it was great to see even the older models still in top working order.

When we went there was the start of a horse show. I rarely get to see horses this closely and it was amazing to see the age range of all the owners controlling and directing the horses.

We thoroughly enjoyed it and wish we got more pictures.
